A. Facilitation Process for Intact Mature Teams, Intact Start-up Teams, and Cross-Divisional Teams
- 1. Orientation- 1/2 day orientation for organizations that are considering 'Building Team Spirit' and want some experiences with it first. (Optional)
- 2. Assessment- 1/2 day assessment to interview different leaders within your organization. This will determine your needs and how to best facilitate Building Team Spirit.
- 3. Retreats- Retreat sessions working with Intact Mature Teams, Intact Start-Up Teams, or Cross-Divisional Teams, structured in two/three 2-day sessions; then determined based on need.
- 4. Follow-up- Consultation and additional sessions are scheduled as needed to reinforce new roles and goals, to deepen understanding and application of team spirit, and to help teams realize ongoing high levels of performance.
B. Facilitation Process for Cross-Functional Forces
- 1. Orientation- 1/2 day sessions to support team members to quickly and powerfully develop relationship, vision, and claiming around their work together by focusing on the following dimensions in the context of Team Spirit.

- b. task completion
- c. goal attainment
- 2. Follow-up- Consultation sessions are scheduled as needed to help the teams attain project completion.
C. Workshop for Enhancing Team development skills of individual leaders
- 1. Workshop- enables participants to:
- a. Identify the characteristics of high performing, spirited teams
- b. Describe relationship of the Team Spirit Spiral to achieiving high performing, spirited teams
- c. Use Team Spirit to facilitate team effectiveness
- 2. Follow-up- Consultation can be scheduled with individual leaders to help them apply Team Spirit concepts within their own teams. Individual team leaders may also wish to schedule facilitations with their own intact mature or start-up team.
